It's finally warm enough in the shed to start this job. The fuel system has been extensively "modified": all the return section, mini-fuel tank, secondary filter and associated lines have been removed. I'm trying to return it to standard.
1) The engine started and ran fine, but how come fuel wasn't spraying all over the place from the disconnected top rail?
2) The new lines I've bought don't quite fit: they will need to be bent to make the various junctions, as shown by the arrows in the photo. Is this usual? How best to do it?
