Do you mean instant reverse transmission with 2 foot pedals for forward and reverse? Is the loader model an MF32 or MF34 with 4 bar bucket linkage? If yes is the answer, I would wager you have a 1973 MF40. The I's are ones 1's in the serial number. The 9A numbers fit all the lower HP MF tractors so you can look under serial numbers to the left. Be careful with the PTO. It will change direction when you go in reverse and is not a live PTO. Most instant reverse didn't have a PTO fitted. The MF40 is an outstanding loader tractor though. Basically a super heavy duty industrial 135 with the same Perkins engine. Look in the pictures section or on the interent for MF40 and you'll see some pictures to compare.
