I noticed it latelly, but also the hood is not the same.
The cut on the side panel is higher on the 44 and 55.
The 3 letters series get higher side panels, like the 44-6 and the 30 did.
The 555 has also a bearing ball with a cast bracket to hold the rear of the front axle. What the 55 got is not serious. Another major seeable difference is the hydraulic system commands, and different hydraulic pump and reservoir. The 555 Diesel get also a more modern manifold heater, but they remove the Diesel primer. I don't think it is possible to find parts for the coil heater of the 55.
