Thks. DavidP for the response.. I verified the stop lever and it is well fastened to the shaft that enters the pump housing.. I have attached it completely ccw..still the motor just turns over.. I loosen the compression bolts on the top of the injectors and cranked the engine, their was fuel leaking out but not with an pressure..Can I loosen these bolts completely.(I had just loosen them sligthly). Istill believe it is a fuel problem(yes the tank is full of fuel).I replaced the primary fuel filter..it had not been replaced in ages..I did not try starting it after the filter replacement.. I suspect I will need to bleed the system. Any other suggesting...Ray
