The serial number registers for the 730's does not contain any information on the Monterrey-assembled tractors, other than the serial numbers. All the serial number registers reveal is that serial number 730xxxx-730xxxx were assigned to Monterrey, Mexico. Attempts have been made to find out how many of each fuel and chassis type were assembled there, but the officials say that the information is not available. The production totals quoted by Shorty Dear are correct for 730 tractors assembled in Waterloo, but do NOT reflect Monterrey production. The short version is, we don't know what was built there, or how many were all-fuel or diesel. It is believed that most 730's assembled in Monterrey were electric-start diesels. Your all-fuel is a rare piece, no doubt about it---even more so, if it has magneto ignition.
