The stroke control screw is located on top of the hyd. pump. Its about 5\16 in diameter with a pin going thru the top of it {looks like a T}. Make sure this is backed out. The purpose of this is to destroke {turn off} the pump to aid in cold weather starting, you turn it all the way in until resistance is felt, start the tractor then back it all the way out. There is an off chance that an electric destroke valve could have been added {small round solenoid with a wire going to it}in the same place as the manual valve.
