1966 Diesel 4020 w/24V system. I live in northern Maine, so I remove my batts for the winter. I also wind up taking the batteries out at least once a season to give them a good charging (no power where the tractor lives). When you get right down to it, the battery box configuration isnt really that safe. More than once I have inadvertently touched my wrench to the floorboard or batt box and gotten a small jolt (as I am tightening the clamps). I am getting more paranoid about this as time goes on.
Question: Is there a decent battery relocation option for these old dogs? I am doing some surfing now on this and havent seen anything yet, but this is my first stop.
