Even after replacing the pin you will probably still have the same problem of loosening bolts. Your dowel pins are worn, pto stub holes worn, and probably threads worn. I have welded the pins to the stub if not very loose but replacing the stub is safer. I have also had to replace the shaft going thru the trans because of holes worn and bolt holes worn. The dowels hold the stub while the bolts only hold it on.
