It's been many years since I did one but I don't remember much of a problem once you get the drum pulled off. Make sure you put some sealer on the inside of that part that goes on the axle that the seal rides on. I have automotive brake spring tools so maybe I used those ? I also could have hooked the springs up first put one shoe in it's spot and then used a large screwdriver or pry bar to stretch the other into place. You should be able to get oil seals from any seal supplier either by cross reference or measurements.
