Look at the flat machined surface clear at the bottom lip like what it sets on if you stand them up on your workbench. It will be at 90* to the way the piston pin goes thru.
IIRC the H212R are the standard size and these are marked on the bottom. Now if they were oversized pistons then Deere usually marked info on them on the top of the piston head.
