Hey Rick. Can you buy out of the yard for $0.08 to $0.12 per pound? No, and I doubt you can buy out of the yard for anything less than $0.25 per pound. Right here is an opportunity for way less than that. I was at the estate auction where all of these JD tractors came from. I had the opportunity to bid and get them cheaper but didn't, but when they landed in my friend's scrap yard that presented the current opportunity of helping save some parts that are darn well worth the money and everyone out there knows it. Everybody wants to gripe about people who take useful tractors and/or equipment to the scrap yard, but no one seems to be willing to pay more than the scrap man. I think what some of you guys are trying to say is that the scrap man is making it harder for y'all to steal these folks' tractors for next to nothing!
