I don't want an argument here but, which heads are you talking about better than the flat heads? If they are zero value, go try to buy one. The cheapest I know is $600 for a crack free guarantee, no valves, no nothing. Just a head. If you are talking about a Murphy's head for $1800, I was told they were made too big to flow right. Perhaps they would be a good head for a stock replacement head, but for pullers I was told they are filling them in to make them flow better is what I heard. Detweiler was suppose to be aftermarketing the flat head but I called and they aborted that mission. Who else is reproducing good heads for the G? Other than the Murphy head, this is news to me.
