The one on mine is still there, just doesn't look the greatest, especially since the guy I bought it from repainted the whole tractor but left the original emblem on. I'll try some eastern salvage yards. I just figured that source was probably tapped dry by now, but maybe not? Hopefully as these tractors get to the point where more of them are restored, someone will take it upon themselves to make these emblems aftermarket. I realize they will probably be the most expensive of any John Deere medallions to reproduce, but $166? C'mon - be reasonable!
