Mike, A gas 60 will pull 3 bottoms in nearly any soil but, it will need to be tuned up well. You may want to consider going through you distributer and making sure all the internals are free and clean and tight. If your timing is correct and your advance is working as it should, you will make enough power. My buddy has a 60 with a mounted 3/14 and was the slowest in the field. I took his distributer last year(with out asking) and gave it a good going through. It was like a new tractor. Plows 8" deep in 3rd gear through heavy clay. 4th in light ground. Tim
