My dad and I both have 1 His has 14000 hours on it and has had 118 hp since new The engine was overhualed at 11000 hours because it broke a wrist pin. Mine has 9000 hours an hasn't been overhualed They both have been worked for the first 3/4 of there life They have both had the clutch replaced twice. The rear axle and planetaries are unique to the 4000 they are heavier Then 3020 or 4010 The 4000 had a different style wheel they used but the option to change to 4020 style was and is there The end of the axle that the wheel fits on is the same size as the 4010 but from the outer bearing in they are larger . They are a very good tractor and most times they will sell as good or even better than a 4020.
