Hello all,
We have a John Deere 4630 powershift and have had it a little over 2 years. Ever since we have had it, when we go to turn it tries to push the front wheels. It does turn, but it will tear up the field some from where the tire tears up the grass. It feels like the differential lock is partially engaged. The differential lock pedal is stuck. It doesn't look rusted up or anything, just looks like it hasn't been used in years. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what could possibly be wrong with it. I understand a full diagnosis would be hard over the internet but was just wondering about where we could start checking. It will probably be a couple months before we look at it. Would like to have it fixed before we use it this summer to bale hay. It has done this way for the past 3 summers that we have used it and makes it aggravating for getting into tight spaces. The brakes work great btw.
