A guy asked me to look at his old 7520, he doesn't have the high side of the transmission. The tractor has the eight speed sycro, low and reverse works fine. I took the top cover off thinking something was wrong with the cam/rollers. That looks fine, but when you shift to the high side I can spin the top shaft with no resistance(by hand), low and reverse locks the shafts together like it should be. I looked at the parts of the top shaft and think the sycros or the drum teeth are gone. I didn't drain the trans and the drum looked fine what I could see of it. I've done a complete trans in 4430s and 4020's but its been a couple years and don't know anything on 7520's and can you split them right in front of the trans or do you take the pivot pins out? thanks chris
