I cleaned and resealed the pump in my standby generator. This great new diesel fuel had gummed it up. I now have it back on and running. It runs great, very crisp throttle response, seems to be running right. My problem is that I am not getting any fuel into the governor housing- if I open a screw, I get no fuel.
How long should it take to fill the body of the pump with fuel? I have only run it a few minutes, does it take longer than this?
