More than likely the liners have pitted from a combination of old age and poor cooling system maintenance. Pull the pan,and use a radiator pressure tester pumped up to about 10-12 lbs. look up into the bottom of the cylinders and you will see which cylinder liner or seals are leaking. Might as well figure on doing an inframe on it cause if 1 cylinder is leaking water the other 3 aren't far behind
