Yes, I do them on a regular basis, when I re-seal a pump I replace the stroke valve and inspect the entire pump for wear, then put it on the test stand and set it and run it for a bit to check for leakage,the steer motor is not a bad job, I can walk you through it or if it's possible get it to me and I'll do it here,,while you watch if you want..
