I had one that you would have to push the primer to get it to start after it sat 1 day or a month. Worse yet was the torque and hp! My 1997 8400 with a chip was almost as good. It had a 24 speed, and if you did shift down at 1800 rpms, it would die on you. I replaced the check valve in the back of the head that helped some. It was dynoed and turned 410. Blockman said the fan was turning and that took the other 15 hp to give me the 425. I never could find a chip for it. If I ever won the lottery, I was going to put a REAL Detroit 12.7 in it and paint the old moter yellow and put on the back. I had 800/55/42 Trelleborg tires weighing 50K. I called it the 4 wheel drive 6030. Glad I got rid of it.
