Attached is a photo of the one other time I saw the bracket on a fender (this photo not of my D). I found it on the net. I guess it could be a bracket to hold a generator on as you commented, but I have no lights or need for electrical unless it had some at one time. Also attached is the D before it was redone (my tractor). If you look hard enough - you can see it on the far fender. Last photo is how it sits now. Thank you for all of your help and photos. I will contact you when I hit a question. I am new to this and do not know anyone that is an expert around here. I hope to learn a few things at a few shows this year.
