Mike: Thanks for your comments. 650 did have a backhoe options (I still have the original 650 brochures)and I believe I have the correct attachment with sub-frame etc. I agree, small tractor for a backhoe though. However, I do not plan on using it for anything big. I do have 3 original hoses on the tractor. One hose goes from the pump to the loader hydraulic value ("IN" port). The second hose is a hose which goes from the loader valve (By-Pass port) back to the top port in the pump. The third hose goes from the loader valve("Out" port)to the transmission reservior. I teed into the "In" port hose directly at the pump for the supply to the backhoe. I am not sure which hose is the power beyond hose. The backhoe return line I hooked into the reservior. How can I determine which is the power beyond hose?
