Something happened to my thrower while it sat in the shed. I baled hay about 10 days ago and the thrower loaded my racks easily, set on "5" on the dial. Yesterday I went to bale and it would only plop the bales into the center of the rack no matter where I turned the valve, about like it is set on "3" with no difference when I turn the handle. The little shaft going into the valve body is turning when the handle is turned so it must be something inside the valve. I changed the filter and the fluid, and put on new belts, all's good there. Being it worked fine last time out, I doubt it could be the pump gone bad sitting in the shed. Is there some spring or something inside the relief valve that I could check to see if it's broken and not putting enough tension on the valve? Maybe it'll just be a piece of dirt holding the valve open, hope so. Anybody else ever have this happen and if so what did you find? Thanks. Ted
