There is a bushing in the flywheel that the shear pin goes through that can get worn and messed up after awhile. If that looks worn it will cause the pin to shear. The arm that tells the knotter when to tie will clunk when it gets to the top and make a clinking noise when it drops back down to start another bale. Doesn't mean anything is wrong. Check the pads on the disc brake that holds the needle arm in the back position. If worn the needles will move forwards and make the shear block hit the plunger arm underneath. We ran one of these for 25 years. Not big on capacity, but a good little baler. Put over 10,000 bales through it a lot of years.
