I'm up in Maine and my new place is about 50 acres of reverting logged off land.. It was logged about 15 years ago and has come back in a lot of white birch and popple and some oak and beechnut. I'm slowly but surely cutting all the stumps flat with the ground, mowing the smaller stuff and discing it for food plots. It's a pretty rough operation. I've got a worn out old 42 inch bush hog right now that's got a big crack in the spindle and is almost ready to quit on me. It's and odd ball belt drive and it's time for an upgrade. I was kind of afraid to go to something like a nice woods for fear of beating it to death in the real woods!! I've got my A set up narrow so it'll fit between the trees when I'm mowing. Thanks Burrhead for turning me on to the Howse website.
