: I just bought my first MF hay baler I'll be using it for my 3rd cutting of hay this year, is there any thing I should know about this baler Thanks Mike Huber
Mike, I too had a MF 10 baler and used it alot. Upon buying it I totally went through it with paint and chains and such... the only drawback to them I saw was the inconsistentcy of the bale length and the absolute need to have text book windrows to get a good bale. The last point is a laugh, that baler absolutely hated my wife to the point I thought it was "demon's posessed". It would bale 200-300 bales without incident and if she walked out into the field it would drop one after another to where I'd just have to stop until she left, then (without touching the baler)I could go back to normal performance. Hope all of this but the last part helps, Dennis

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects. ... [Read Article]
