Honestly I liked the mower but it goes back to me saying that you can't turn the sickle fast enough if the mower has the sheaves on it for a tractor with live power. Everyone else said it would work fine but it didn't for me, and if you look in the manual for a 515 Ford recommended changing the sheave on 4 speed non live pto tractors to get the proper speed on the sickle to match up with your ground speed. Maybe I'm wrong...all I can base it on is my experience and what Ford says. But the 515 is a great mower. I traded mine to a friend who runs it behind a tractor with live power. I now use a Dearborn 14-15 and I don't have the same problems that I had when trying to use the 515 behind my TO-20.
