Nice old unit painted in (your choice) Oliver or JD colors. I picked it up for $40 at an auction 60 miles from home. I needed a sprayer but it was a wreck and I was fairly unhappy with the other bidders for dropping out so low. Finally got working on it and the first thing I found out was that the pto pump was fully operational and put out good pressure...big bonus! I replaced all the nozzles, the control box, filter unit and the pressure relief valve. Did a LOT of cleaning of tank and lines. It has a 20' three section boom. I am into it for less than $200 total and it is ready to head down to the field for GPA testing with the tractor that will pull it. I have two questions:
1) The pump says NI resistant on it. Used to be a good chart on the internet that told you what this meant but I cannot find it. Will Roundup kill this pump? I have another I can use if so.
2) The TSC pressure valve has no instructions. Pretty simple...it screws down and up. Which way increases or decreases pressure? Any recommendations on where to set it to keep things safe, etc? No matter what I do to this thing it doesn't react one way or the other.
