Hello all, This is my first time on the forum and I"m looking for some help repairing my 60t oliver baler. I broke the sproket that operates the pick up assembly. I am attempting to remove the shaft to make the repair and am stuck.. I think. I"ve removed the left tire (if you are facing the pick up assembly) and have taken off the lower pulley that is on the shaft that needs to be pulled out. I next have taken the coter pin near the broken sproket out and felt like the whole shafft should be able to be pulled out. I am hoping that years of rust have it frozen in there.. It will move back and forth about a 1/4 of an inch. There is another coter pin a few inches away from the one I removed but it looks like it is on a seperate peice. I"m hoping that the shaft does not go all the way to the other side where there is another pulley.. Any help would be great and thank you.
