We ran it easily with a 4600 ford (52 hp). They are a bit of a picky and difficult baler. I would suggest a 504 F-H or a 1440 MF. Later model, easier to run and still pretty cheap.
the 605D makes my 105 hp 1855 cockshutt grunt,.but then my 605D ain't exactly stock anymore.
Is now a good baler though :D .
Stock they are pretty much useless.
