From what you say you want to haul I have no idea if you are in the states or elseware, so I just have to go with the american models. The John Deere if it is a 943 is a 3 ton gear and is designed different than all the other 3 digit gears. The 902, 951, 952 and 953 are all 4 ton gears and the 963 looks just about the same as the 953 except it has a reinforced tougn and I think the axle is a quarter inch taller and is a 5 ton gear. The 802 is a steel wheel gear that only came with spoke type steel tire wheels with just brass bushing type of bearings and was designed for use with horses and I don't think it carried a weight rating. And that is all the 3 digit models sold in the USA, the 4 digit models I am not famiular with.
