I once bought a JD 3-pt plow for parts that had no tail wheel. But it had a very long landslide on the 3rd bottom. If this plow has the long land-slide it might work, but I never saw a 311 without a tail wheel. I was told you either need the tail wheel or the long landslide. I have a 311 plow and looks like you could take off the last bottom. I agree that a 300U will not pull a 311 plow. I did use my 311 and 300U to plow the garden, but it took our 400 to pull it in red clay ground. Al
