I believe a JD 813 plow would be correct for a 70. I am not sure if mine is an 810 or 813 but it had the "horse head" that you need to connect it to a 70 JD with an 801 hitch. Maybe somebody might know if I have an 813 or 810. Way back in 1955 or so one, of my neighbors bought a new 70 diesel with an 801 hitch and he used a 3 bottom like the one in my picture. A 55 or 66 plow would be a much better plow if you plan on plowing. These 801 hitch plows don't work that well. The 2nd picture is my 70 pulling a 3 bottom 55 plow. Al
