A medium frane measures 13" and with the beams turned out it is a 14" but with them turned in it is a 12", large frame 15" and either 14" or 16" and small frame that there is not many of them around is 11" for a 10" cut or a 12" cut. They were figured for the B tractors and the "B" cylinder is 2 1/2" while the "A" cylinder is 3 1/2" and for the 16" version most were used behind an A tractor and 8" is correct length but you need a depth stop cylinder as the plow has no depth control but the cylinder. Any diameter as long as your tractor has enough pressure will work but the smaller the cylinder the faster it will raise and the larger the slower it will raise.
