Do you live in an area where there are Amish? They are probaly the only people left who have the proper equipment to sharpen the knives on a No.6. You have to remove the knives have them sharpened and reinstall and readjust them. For a small farm with limited use it is an ok harvester if in good shape but do not mess with a piece of junk.We have two of the No.12's that we use for fun and cut a dozen or two loads each year.A better harvester would be a Deere 34 or 38 or a New Holland 717 the IH 350 was good as well.Fox made a good harvester but there are no parts to be had anymore.
