Making my first foray into the round bale world... got a 855 chain and bar type, not belt, fully automatic, don't have to kick the pto in to kick the bale out after tying like some I've seen, leave pto on, when gate is opened fully it'll kick it out. Question is, what is the best way (in your opinion) to roll a good, tight, even bale? The windrow is about 1/4 the width of the pickup, do you constantly drive back and forth over it or do you start on one side and stay there for awhile before moving over?
