All, I am looking to upgrade my hay rake. I have found the following rakes available in my area for under $1500: NH 56 NH 256 JD 640 JD 660 JD 894A JD 670 I am fairly familiar with the NH 56 & 256 rakes, but know nothing about the JD line of rakes. Are the JD rakes equivalent to the NH line? Is there a rake to avoid and why? My hay is mostly Timothy/Broome grass mix. I have a number of small irregular fields, some of which are fairly steep. Opinions are appreciated.
