Your planter plates might be worn...they get thinner as they wear. Lincoln Ag plates have a small "wear hole" near the edge and if you can see thru it, the plate is shot. The B2-24 is usually the right plate for med. rounds. If the floor plate is worn, then you need to try the next size smaller cell next year. Check the floor plate, as they wear they produce a groove where the plate cells pass over; planting a lot of soybeans produces a lot of wear on floor plates as they are more abrasive than corn kernels. How fast do you drive (be honest now)? If this planter is on 30" rows, and you want 24,000 pop, then 5 mph for plate-type planter is top end for accurate seed drop. Speed kills an accurate plant stand.
