Thought I share this real story that recently happened to me: Went to look at a shedded nice JD 25 turtle back 2 Fridays ago with a JD HA-92 engine. All there and engine turning, tank drained, etc. Seller's wife got if from ex-husband in the divorce (?), didn't want to poke around for too many details. Ended up buying it, to be picked up later since I was in a car. Had the original OP for the combine and engine as well and I brought those back with me and into the house, hiding them from my wife. She knows me all too well: when she finds a manual she looks for the equipment in the yard, barn, trailer.... lol (kinda like "when there is smoke there's got to be fire" kind of approach of her). Well, since I had gotten in after midnight, I was still sleeping in the next morning when I was woken up by my lovely wife waving both manuals in front of my sleepy eyes asking me "what that is?" ..... How did you find them, I asked her to which she replied: Can't you smell them??!!!??. The seller has horses and apparently kept them near horse meds/rub in the cold barn/tack room. Apparently, the flavor "developed" in the warm house and stung her nose when she got up ... and began looking around....!!! Will pick her up in 2 or 3 weeks. Will post picks then. The combine, that is. Not the wife....LOL Guilty as charged, Ralph in OK

Safe trailering practices and inspections will ensure that the event is a fun one. A good habit to develop when using a trailer is to give that ‘quick look over’ before taking it on a trip. Before hooking up to it check the tongue for proper operation. The latche
