Make sure you start it the day of auction and don't take your eyes off it and anyone looking at it, especially under the hood, in the cab/dash/tank. Otherwise, it "miraculously" won't start maybe not even crank when the auctioneer comes around and bidding starts. While that may be getting you a "cheaper" price, you never know what damage was done, some may be too costly (more than the auction price difference). Take a buddy along to help you watch it.
