Look at the picture and see why you wouldnt want to try it.A 15 ft grain head and 4 row corn head did this to both sides of my 1420.They are built pretty weak.Every 1420 needs a final pulled off so that you can drive some tubing in the hollow axle housing to reinforce it.
I know a guy that tried a 6 row on a 1420 and he said dont even think about doing it.With a 4 row head I could only run 4-4.5 mph in dry 150 bushel corn.
