LB, the 5542 is very similar to a 431 Oliver Combine. I own a 431 Oliver. The grain tank runs down the Left side of the machine. There is a drag auger on the bottom of the bin that takes the grain to the back of the tank and then out the unload auger. Very simple set up. The grain tank on my 431 fills evenly and unloads evenly. You can look over your left shoulder and see exactly how much grain is in the tank. My 431 is a very smooth running machine. I know Charlie, if I didn't have 3 combines setting outside right now I'd buy the 5542. That and I'm still holding out for a 5297 Minneapolis Moline and a HUGE machine shed to put everything in.
