jim the only odd one i use to remember was 1 cutter ran mm-combines i think he had 4 of them.with there round tanks and the color they kind of stode out.jim remember massy was user friendly there combines were easy to transport on trucks.they use to have a frame over the cab on the truck and sat the header on that.there wetre a lot of cockshutt combines in the dakotas and were real good machines, remember most of the dakota wheat was windrowed also,so the old pull types were all over the place,a machine that takes only wheat down lastes a lot longer,we did over 500acers witha 12-a john deere and farmall m tractor, back then wen you worked in the spring the plow went behind the tractor then a culipacker then the drill , they were called pony drills, and it was a one shot operation.
