Dannie, didn't anybody tell you you are supposed to start out, from a dead stop, in low gear (No. 1), then shift up as you go along. Thats why it rears like a bucking horse! Rather disconcerting, especially starting up hill, with a full grass bag on the back! And, try not to "pop" the clutch when starting to move! Rustyj
