On the side of the box where the arm is that the drag link hooks up to, you will see a nut and screw arrangement. Loosen the nut and turn the screw in a quarter-turn. Then tighten the nut. The "screw" is the cam follower for the steering. They do wear, but sometimes by turning it a quarter-turn, you get a new surface for the steering box worm gear to ride on, and it fixes the problem. Try to resist turning the screw in til it's real tight. It will seem fine, but will fail in use.

If a quarter-turn does not fix the slop, then a rebuild is likely in order. All parts are still available.
