Some Original frames came with a factory-made oval hole for the creeper handle to stick through. Others were solid frames, sold without creepers, and the creeper was installed by the dealer or owner. IH creeper installation instructions specified a 1-inch hole be drilled through the frame at the proper place for the handle to come through, but some did it other ways due to lack of proper tools or whatever. Or because they drilled the first hole in the wrong spot. If your replacement frame has the oval hole or an acceptable drilled hole, you need do nothing else but swap out the frames. Be careful not to break off the handle at the fragile base of it...they are NLA and almost impossible to find as a part.
