All the replies posted are possible causes to your problem. One more thing you might check is that fuel caps on saws are vented, I have seen instances where the vent is partially or fully plugged. Once it quits on you open the fuel cap and try starting again. Possibly a cheap fix. If all else fails, trade it for a Stihl. LOL.
