To add to info shadetree posted,ma was bought by general power equip, which later sold the tiller & several other outdoor divisions to mtd.You might want to try going to mtd website & get phone# for customer service & give them a call, they might be able to help you with a sears/ma cross ref mod# if you can find an id tag on tiller frame,manual/parts list may be avail at mtd website as a free download,on many of the older/smaller tillers the id tag was a small steel/aluminum tag riveted to lip of tiller frame between handles.
I have an old ma tiller I bought used sold by agway, several yrs ago I was still able to download a manual/parts list at mtd website. If mtd can't help you with manual try going to ebay & search sears roto spader manual, many times old manuals will be listed there.
Without checking my sears/tecumseh eng cross ref,if this tiller has a 3-4hp vert shaft eng & tiller has power rev,the for/rev clutch linings for tiller are extremely hard/impossible to find, the rev lining is shot on mine & I couldn't find a replacement clutch lining & now use without power rev.
