Last fall I bought a pipefitters tri stand/vise and discovered that the vise set up outside works really good for cleaning and sharpening mower blades. I power wire brush them off with a side grinder mounted brush then sharpen them with a grinding wheel on another side grinder I then balance them on the cone on a point then give them a coating of Mo-Deck (avail at walmart)which keeps the grass from sticking so tight to the blades.
